The touch pro and iguidance 4.0 work seamlessly. The AGPS on the touch pro takes about 6 secs to connect. So much more convenient than using the SIRFIII on the QStarz.

Goodbye M704

So I decided to get rid of the M704. Its been a good ride but it has got to go. The reason being that I got bored with it and i couldnt support most of my applications, and there is no instant ON unlike my touch pro. Next try might be the OQO but we will see how the reviews go before a major dive.

Mac or PC --Decisions, decisions

So finally sold my PC and switching to Mac maybe permanently. I just have to note that OSX is not all that its cracked up to be; is it easy to use? yes but so is Windows7. I prefer Mac hardware tho, looks sturdy and well maybe. On a side note, I hate what Mac reminds me, and what/experiences that made me buy it.....not a technical experience but I am getting over it slowly with time.. peace..

GpsGate saved the day

Touch pro and iguidance stock really really sucks. The update rate was abysmall. So after so digging around I found this port emulator that routes the COM port to a virtual COM. its called GPS Gate. Installed it and it worked excellent on the touch pro. Now the only issue I have with this phone is the talk time battery live. I hate flashing ROMS so I hope HTC will come out with a firmware fix for this. OUT.
